EV Charging Monitoring: Stations and Facility Load on One Screen

6S Teknoloji monitors EV charging stations over OCPP 1.6-J and 2.0.1: session and kWh tracking, station status, remote start/stop and current limit, a unified load view with the facility main meter, and per-usage consumption reports.

Charging Consumption Gets Lost in Common Areas

Malls, residential complexes and office buildings are adding charging stations fast; yet in most facilities this consumption disappears into common-area electricity. Who charged how much, is the station working right now, does the charging load coincide with peak hours — these questions stay locked in the station vendor's closed panel.

6S Teknoloji listens to stations directly over OCPP 1.6-J or 2.0.1, keeps session and kWh records, and merges the charging load with the main meter monitoring screen. The session breakdown feeds the billing module.

What Does It Provide?

  • Brand-independent station connection over OCPP 1.6-J and 2.0.1
  • Session-based kWh records and usage breakdown
  • Station status: available / charging / faulted
  • Unified view of charging load with the facility main meter
  • Peak-hour charging intensity report
  • Consumption breakdown ready for sub-tenant billing
  • Remote start/stop and a current limit in amps (authorised users)

What Is EV Charging Monitoring?

EV charging monitoring connects electric vehicle charging stations to a central system via the OCPP protocol, records sessions, kWh and status, and tracks the charging load together with the facility's overall electricity consumption, reported per usage.

Who Is It For?

  • Malls and office buildings operating charging stations in their car parks
  • Property managers who want charging split out of common-area costs
  • Businesses tracking the charging cost of fleet vehicles
  • Energy managers who want to see charging's impact on peak demand

Frequently Asked Questions

Which OCPP version is supported?
OCPP 1.6-J (JSON) and OCPP 2.0.1. Charging stations connect to the 6S Teknoloji central system (CSMS) over WebSocket; session start/end, meter values (transferred kWh), connector status and authorisation flow into the platform as standard messages.
Can my existing charging stations connect?
The vast majority of stations supporting OCPP 1.6-J or 2.0.1 connect regardless of brand; the station's central system address is pointed at 6S Teknoloji. No extra hardware is needed.
Can charging consumption be billed?
kWh records are kept per session, station and usage; this breakdown feeds the sub-tenant billing module. Charging consumption mixed into common-area electricity is thus separated out.
Is there load management?
On an authorised user's command, 6S Teknoloji can send a current limit in amps to the station through an OCPP charging profile, and charging sessions can be started and stopped remotely. The charging load appears on the same screen as the facility's main meter and peak-hour charging intensity is reported. Automatic dynamic load balancing against the main-meter load is out of scope.
