Retail chain, hotel chain, hospital group, shopping centre portfolio or property management company — bring the electricity, water and gas consumption of every site into one head-office dashboard. Compare sites per square metre and spot the one that drifts before the month ends.
In a chain, energy cost is not one invoice but is spread across each site's own subscription, distribution region and billing date. The head-office team often sees invoices only after they pass through accounting; by then the month has closed and the problem has rolled into the next one. The more sites there are, the bigger this delay becomes.
The second challenge is comparison. A resort hotel and a city hotel, a high-street store and a store inside a mall, a hospital and a clinic are not on the same scale; putting total kWh side by side makes the larger site look unfairly bad. A meaningful comparison needs an indicator normalised by area and the same period.
Third, most sites have nobody responsible for metering. Nobody notices that the air conditioning stayed on overnight, that the window lighting timer has drifted or that water keeps running in one block. An energy monitoring system closes this gap from the centre.
Small per-branch invoices are gathered on one dashboard; air conditioning, window lighting and refrigeration running after closing time are caught early.
Each hotel's chiller, boiler, hot water and laundry consumption is measured the same way, and hotels are compared per square metre.
In hospitals running 24/7, UPS, generator and transformer monitoring is set up to the same standard at every site; group management sees all hospitals together.
Common-area and tenant consumption is tracked separately in every centre of the portfolio; tenant billing follows the same rules everywhere.
Common-area electricity, water and heat share of every managed estate on one dashboard; night-flow leak detection runs across all estates.
Hundreds of small sites without metering staff are monitored centrally; a drifting branch surfaces through an alarm.
Total cost matters to management, the normalised indicator to the operations team. 6S Teknoloji shows both side by side, so cost and efficiency are read from the same table.
| Indicator | What It Measures | When to Look |
|---|---|---|
| Total kWh / ₺ | The site's cost for the period | Budget and invoice checks |
| kWh / m² | Efficiency adjusted for floor area | Ranking sites |
| Base (night) load | Consumption during closed hours and at night | Night and holiday screening |
| Unit price (₺/kWh) | Difference in tariff and supply terms | Supply contract review |
At each site the existing energy analyser or meter is read through a field unit connected to the facility's local network. The field unit opens an encrypted outbound connection to the centre; no ports need to be opened on the site network. If the internet drops, readings are held in the local queue for at least 30 days and transferred retrospectively when the link returns; no record is deleted until the centre has acknowledged it.
Sites are defined as separate facilities on the platform and grouped together. When a new site opens it is added with the same device templates; the head-office dashboard and comparison tables include it automatically.
Multi-site energy management is the work of monitoring the energy consumption of several sites from one centre, comparing them normalised by floor area, and acting on a drifting site before the month ends. 6S Teknoloji measures each site as a separate facility and brings them all into one portfolio dashboard.
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| Structure | Each site a separate facility; sites grouped |
| Permissions | At group (head office) and site level; read-only or write |
| Comparison metrics | Consumption, intensity per m², unit price |
| Energy types | Electricity, water, gas |
| Connectivity | Encrypted outbound connection from field unit to centre |
| Connection loss | Local queue, at least 30 days; no deletion without ACK |
For detail by facility type see the hotel, hospital, shopping centre and residential and estate energy management pages. How deviation alerts are produced is explained on the alarm engine page, and site budgets on the budget projection page.
